The Canada international full-back is tied to terms at the Allianz Arena through to 2025. Bundesliga champions Bayern had been hoping to thrash out a new deal with the 23-year-old by now, but his contract demands are said to have delayed that process.

According to , Davies is now being advised by Real Madrid’s squad planner, Juni Calafat, to shun any further contract talks. That is because the Liga giants are ready to table a formal bid for his services – allowing him to take on a new challenge in Spain.
